My journey in the driver training industry began in 1994. By the time I fully qualified in 1996, I realized something vital: the standard qualification was only the beginning. I recognized a gap in the industry for deeper, more professional training—so I decided to go out and find it myself.

A Foundation in Education

In 2001, I became a Grade A Instructor and have kept the grade since then. I took a pivotal step by enrolling in an Adult Teacher Training Course at Bournemouth and Poole College. This shifted my perspective from simply "teaching a skill" to "understanding how people learn." This educational foundation transformed my approach and set the stage for my career as a trainer of trainers. It was the first step to understanding Client Centred training

I believe that CPD (Continued Professional Development) is the heartbeat of an expert trainer. Over the last 30 years, I have meticulously built a portfolio of qualifications to provide the highest level of service to my students and fellow instructors:

• DVSA ORDIT Trainer: Officially recognized for excellence in instructor training.

• Qualified DVSA Fleet Trainer: Specializing in corporate safety and advanced vehicle handling.

• DIA Examiner: Providing a high-level perspective on testing standards and assessment.

Currently, I am further expanding my expertise by studying for the Bright Coaching Diploma in Driver Behaviour. My goal is to move beyond basic mechanics and address the "why" behind driving decisions.
